About Ann...

Ann Roberts

Ann Roberts has authored nine books, from romance to mystery to general lesbian fiction. A native Arizonan who should’ve been born near an ocean and a lighthouse, Ann and her family go to a coast as often as possible. She and her partner recently celebrated their sixteenth anniversary, and she wonders how such a wonderful woman would tolerate living with a writer for so long.

For many years she was an English teacher and was thrilled every time a high school student found the joy of writing. While many of her budding author protégées promised to split the royalties of their future best sellers with her, she has yet to see a check from any of them. She’s still hopeful. Currently she is the principal of K-8 school and while she was used to unruly high school behavior such as profanity and rebelliousness, she’s still getting used to the biting, kicking and raspberries that are typical of seven-year-olds.

Ann enjoys a good joke, excellent red wine, watching movies, going to plays and spending time with friends. What she loves most is language and she continues to be fascinated by words and their power. And she is very grateful to her readers for their support!
