Ms Hicks wove a beautifully written tale for her audience with this book. It was well thought out, with an intense plot, deep and real characters, and so many emotions…. I loved how profound this story was. I was taken with it from the start and immersed in the drama in a way I haven’t been in quite a while. I developed a soft spot for Haze and my heart ached for her. The book totally had me hooked.
