As interior designer Jay Burns watches her long-term relationship slowly unravel, she runs into—literally—landscape designer Drew Montgomery. As their paths cross, both professionally and personally, a friendship develops, one they each try to maintain despite the obvious attraction between them. But still, Jay is not willing to throw away an eight-year relationship, even when it becomes painfully obvious the end is near.
The Rainbow Cedar is the journey of one woman struggling with the loss of love and commitment from one, and the possibility of finding it all again with someone new.

The Lesbian Review
Audio Book Review - Abby Craden did a great job narrating the nuances of this one. Craden is a master narrator and I can guarantee that if the book is narrated by her then I will enjoy it.
Lambda Book Report
Cecilia Martin - March, 2009: What is true love? "Friendship is a necessity. Physical love will only take you so far. True, long-lasting love is not between two people, it's between two souls."
Just About Write
Cheri Rosenberg - March, 2009: Hill seduces her readers with plenty of tension as Jay teeters between relation hell and lovers' paradise.
Lynne Pierce - July, 2008: The Rainbow Cedar is a good vacation or weekend reading book. The story will be a good way to spend a few hours seeing how these women work out their situation.
